Close CRM integration

Your CRM, updated without anyone typing

Aura books the call, records it, and works out how it went. Close is where the deal lives. The integration keeps the two in agreement, so your pipeline reflects reality without a rep writing it up after every conversation.

What syncs

Both directions, automatically

No mapping spreadsheets and no nightly import. Aura reads your pipelines, statuses, and custom fields when you connect, then keeps the record current as the call moves.

A lead arrives

Every lead Aura captures becomes a Lead and a Contact in Close within seconds, whether it came from a booking form, an ad, or a manual entry.

A call is booked

The meeting is written onto the Close record as a Note, so the CRM shows the call was set without a rep logging it by hand.

The call happens

The completed meeting is logged as a Call activity with its duration, the AI summary and the primary objection, linking back to the recording in Aura.

The call is won or lost

Aura creates an Opportunity in Close with the matching won or lost status and the deal value, using your own pipeline and stage names, and appends a Note recording the outcome.

Someone edits in Close

Change a contact's details in Close and Aura picks it up. Aura knows which side a change came from, so the two never overwrite each other.

Installation

Connect in a few minutes

Aura connects to Close from inside your Aura workspace, so the connection is securely tied to your organization.

  1. 1

    Sign in to Aura

Log in at app.aura-app.ai. If you are new to Aura, start a free trial first. The Close integration is available on every plan.

  2. 2

    Open Settings, then Integrations

From the left navigation in Aura, go to Settings and select Integrations. You need to be an org admin to connect a CRM.

  3. 3

    Connect Close

Select the Close card and click Connect. You are redirected to Close to sign in, choose the organization, and approve access for Aura.

  4. 4

    Let Aura read your setup

On return, Aura registers a webhook with Close and reads your pipelines, statuses, custom fields, and users, so it can map to the stages your team already uses.

  5. 5

    Run a call through it

Create a lead in Aura and book a call. The Lead and Contact appear in Close, the booking is written as a Note, and setting the outcome to won or lost creates the Opportunity.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need an Aura account to use this?

Yes. The integration syncs your Aura sales workspace with Close, so it requires an Aura account. A free trial is available, and the integration is included on every plan.

Will this change my Close pipeline or stages?

No. Aura reads the pipelines, statuses, and custom fields you already have and maps to them. It does not create or rename stages, and you keep working the way your team already does.

What happens if a lead has no email address?

It is skipped, because Close needs an email to create a contact. Add one in Aura and the lead syncs on its next change. Nothing is lost in the meantime.

Can edits in Close overwrite my Aura data, or the other way round?

No. Aura records which side each change came from, so a change that arrived from Close is never pushed back to Close. That stops the two systems bouncing edits between each other.

What does Aura write into Close?

Leads and Contacts when a lead is captured, a Note when a call is booked, a Call activity when the call completes carrying the summary and a link back to the recording, and an Opportunity with the deal value when a call is marked won or lost, plus a Note recording that outcome. Nothing is deleted from Close.

How do I disconnect?

Go to Settings, then Integrations, then Close, and click Disconnect. Records already written to Close stay there. Aura stops sending new data and stops receiving updates.

Is my data secure?

Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never logged, and the connection is authorized per organization using OAuth 2.0. Aura enforces per-organization data isolation. See our privacy policy at app.aura-app.ai/privacy.

Stop updating the CRM by hand

Let Aura carry the lead, the call, and the outcome into Close, and give your reps their admin time back.

Figures on this page are illustrative. The comparison showing 100 booked calls producing 8 clients against 28 clients is a worked example built on stated assumptions. It is not an average of our customers and not a projection for your business. The same applies to the 40 and 80 percent show rates, the 20 and 35 percent close rates, the 3.5x multiple and the 25 hours a week. Aura is a software platform and we do not guarantee any specific result, including show rate, close rate, conversation volume, lead quality, client count, revenue or time saved. Your results depend on your offer, your traffic, your leads, your team and how consistently the platform is used. Some customers see no measurable change.

Testimonials and customers. All quotes and customer names are real, from actual Aura customers, published with permission, and describe one person’s experience at one point in time. They are not claimed to represent typical results. Where a customer references a specific revenue figure it is their own reported result, not an average or a promise of what you will achieve. We do not pay for testimonials. Customer logos indicate use of the platform and are not an endorsement of any claim beyond the words attributed to that person.

Third-party research and comparisons. Statistics attributed to Salesforce, Gartner or others are published by those organisations, cited for context, and those organisations have not reviewed or endorsed anything on this page. Comparisons to other tools or to the cost of hiring reflect our own assessment of publicly available information at the time of writing; third-party pricing and features change often, and salary figures are general market estimates that vary by role and location.

Trademarks. Calendly, Fathom, Close, GoHighLevel, Stripe, Slack, Whop, ablefy, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and all other product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names does not imply affiliation, endorsement or partnership, and integration with a product does not imply that product endorses Aura. All names are used for identification only.

Pricing, trial and consent. Pricing is in US dollars, per seat, current at publication and subject to change. The 14 day trial requires no card at sign up; what happens at the end of the trial is set out at sign up and in our Terms. Optional implementation services are priced separately. Where call recording is enabled, customers are responsible for obtaining any consent required in their jurisdiction, which differs by country and by US state. Nothing on this site is financial, legal or professional advice, and you are responsible for your own business decisions and any outcome that follows. Features described as planned are not commitments and may change without notice.
